Took the Family camping in Algonquin. The kids absolutely loved it. When we were packing up to leave we told them that we had to go home. Max asked if after we went home if we could come back.
A shot of the car before we unpacked it.
Looking for a campsite
This one should do
Time to set up the tent
Time to take a rest
I took each of the kids (one at a time) for a paddle and we found this little guy
Time for dinner
Woke up to this on the second day
getting warmed up for the day
The fog has lifted
Every body get in the canoe
It's time to go exploring
Taking a break for lunch
Walking along the portage
The leaves are falling
Been a long day, I need a nap
Somebody lit the fire
That's better, nice and warm
The second morning was a beautiful bright pink sky
Time to go
We had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back.
That looks like a lot of fun. Nice and peaceful. That's where I want to go when we come for a visit.
ReplyDeleteIt's an absolutely amazing place. You are so far out in the woods that you have to tie your food up a tree due to bears.
ReplyDeleteWhen you guys come up we will definitely go into the "Park"
When did your car turn red??? It is beautiful area? We missed camping this year. Instead we decided to stay on hotels during the hottest part of the summer in Canada and NY!!!
ReplyDeleteThese pics make me wonder if the place is really that beautiful, or you are really just that good.
