Barton's Visit to TO

A while back the Barton's came up to visit us for a few days. We had a fantastic time while they were here and would like to extend a formal invitation for them, or any of the other readers of this blog, (even if you stumbled onto this blog by accident or don't know us) to come visit us. Thanks again Barton's for coming us to see us.

These pictures are all out of order and I can't be bothered putting them in order so skip along with us and see where we went.

Zach wasn't content with being at the highest floor in the tallest tower of the old home so he decided to climb up some pipes.

Max got to this dino too and I think that little girl behind him was waiting to say hi to the dino before Max got there first.

The dino was so cute and cuddly that even Robert couldn't resist her charm

E's Birthday Party

This one is for Sarah (who I think might be the only one actually reading this). Sarah had mentioned that Max had some big cake and all Ev got was a little bowl of ice cream. So I wanted to show Sarah (and Ev) that they weren't getting "hosed".

Evelyn actually got two parties. The first was the small little thing here at home. Then on the weekend we went down to the Bluffs and had a BBQ. 

And now on to the photos

First up is a 360° pano turned into a planet of a small beach

But when she did she was very happy to have done it.

This was E's present from us. And she absolutely loved it. If you have your hand in front of the dog or pet it, the thing jumps and spins in a circle while barking. (It will be nice when those batteries go flat)

Life and how we live it

With Ev's birthday coming up in less then a week I figured I should post at least one pic from Max's birthday. Max had asked for a Thomas cake, and thanks to his creative mom he got it.

The MythBusters came to town and Carrie and I went to see them. I even got to go up on stage.

We had a visitor this spring

and we sent him back with a few friends.

This is a Thank You card Max and I made for Aunt Rebecca for being the Best Aunt Rebecca there is.

It was a little bit of trial and error before we actually got it right.

I've had these photos just sitting here for quite some time and even though they are from a few different outings I've decided to clump them all together into one post.

Yeah I know none of them are amazing but I'm working on it. Maybe one day I'll land that Nat Geo job.
