A Random Collection

These first bunch of photos are from Brook's Farm last fall

Ev bouncing on a blue dog?? Actually I'm not sure what animal that is supposed to be

Max on a tire horse

some racing pigs

this is the kids jumping on a giant air mattress. the thing was probably 20'x60'

Now we move on to the park

Ev on a swing

and Max on a swing

while I was out shooting photos of my bike I was able to capture this one of a couple of birds in front of this huge barge in the water

This is my attempt at producing an image using the "Brenizer" method. basically you use a longer focal length lens with a large aperture and shoot a bunch of images then stitch them together and get an image you couldn't other wise get.

our pumpkins that we got from the farm

These last two are from the back side of the rainbow bridge.

Photos of the first day of school

Yes, I know the first day of school was last year but I've been lazy and so I'm posting them now.

here they are ready to go

dropping them off bright (we not so bright) and early

Ev only did a half day because we wanted her to get used to the idea of going to school. Once home she ended up in time out and I though she was sitting quietly like a good girl. Well she was quite, a little too quiet. So I went to check on her and this is what I saw. (Those are packages of baby wipes all emptied out)

Lynde Shores Conservation Area

Here are some pics of a few of our outings to Lynde Shores. Amazing how many different birds are in this small area.

Here is a female Cardinal

Black Capped Chickadees, these things love people.

See, I told you

Ev was not having a good time

but she got over it.

There are also Ducks and Geese and Hawks and Nuthatches and I'm told there are Deer in the woods there too. When I get a photo of one I'll be sure to post it.

Decorated for Christmas

Christmas Eve at the new place didn't quite look like Christmas.

After the snow, now it looks a bit more like Christmas.

Christmas 2012

okay so these photos are not in chronological order, and I'm too lazy to correct them. Mostly because google messes up the spacing of the photos once you start to try to re-order them. Any way, here is Christmas 2012

Max running to see what Santa brought and what we bought.

sk8 or die

This is a project that I had in mind for a while and finally got around to taking the photos. Then it took a while to edit the photo together. I think it turned out pretty cool.

and here is another photo that I think turned out okay.

Family Photo

They just painted the rainbow bridge, which was tagged (rather poorly I might add) soon afterward. Then it was painted again. So, before it was tagged again we decided to walk down and have a look. While we were out it seemed like a good time to get a quick family photo.

Here it is.

Underpass Park

They just opened up a new park downtown. There are a lot of condos going up, and they needed to build some more parks. Luckily the stop just under the underpass was not being used. It's actually a pretty cool park. On one side of the street is a jungle gym and swings and the other side is a skate park.

This is Max on a twisty thing that if you aren't careful will throw you off.

I think we will go back again.

Forks of the Credit

I heard great things about this place, and the many waterfalls there. Well I'm not sure where these great falls were cause I didn't see any "great" falls. The drive up there was almost worth it though because of the super twisty portion of one of the roads.

We picked a very hot day to do this walk and it was much longer then I had expected. Also of course the kids got tired and said "can you pick me up". Which of course we did.

This first pic is at the half way point on the walk back. Trying to cool down in the shade by the water.

At the start of the walk, tons of frogs in the water behind them.

The "not so great" water fall.

A quick picnic lunch near the unimpressive falls.
