sk8 or die

This is a project that I had in mind for a while and finally got around to taking the photos. Then it took a while to edit the photo together. I think it turned out pretty cool.

and here is another photo that I think turned out okay.

Family Photo

They just painted the rainbow bridge, which was tagged (rather poorly I might add) soon afterward. Then it was painted again. So, before it was tagged again we decided to walk down and have a look. While we were out it seemed like a good time to get a quick family photo.

Here it is.

Underpass Park

They just opened up a new park downtown. There are a lot of condos going up, and they needed to build some more parks. Luckily the stop just under the underpass was not being used. It's actually a pretty cool park. On one side of the street is a jungle gym and swings and the other side is a skate park.

This is Max on a twisty thing that if you aren't careful will throw you off.

I think we will go back again.

Forks of the Credit

I heard great things about this place, and the many waterfalls there. Well I'm not sure where these great falls were cause I didn't see any "great" falls. The drive up there was almost worth it though because of the super twisty portion of one of the roads.

We picked a very hot day to do this walk and it was much longer then I had expected. Also of course the kids got tired and said "can you pick me up". Which of course we did.

This first pic is at the half way point on the walk back. Trying to cool down in the shade by the water.

At the start of the walk, tons of frogs in the water behind them.

The "not so great" water fall.

A quick picnic lunch near the unimpressive falls.

Spring Time Photos

With the arrival of Autumn, I figured this is the perfect time to post pics of last spring.

This is a combo of different walks around the city.

This first batch is from Sunnybrook Park

and these are from Edwards Gardens, which happens to be part of the same green space.

these are from the "duck pond" aka Terraview Park

and this last one is from beside the playground at our place.

new scooby-doo

I wasn't ignoring your comment Rebecca I just figured I could use it as a blog post and since I'm lazy it takes a few days to reply.

Our car didn't change from green to red. we went out and bought another Subaru. We just couldn't get by with one car any more. So now we have christmas coloured cars.

Here is a photo of the new (and by new I mean really old but new to us) car.

Algonquin in the Fall

Took the Family camping in Algonquin. The kids absolutely loved it. When we were packing up to leave we told them that we had to go home. Max asked if after we went home if we could come back.

A shot of the car before we unpacked it.

Looking for a campsite

Barton's Visit to TO

A while back the Barton's came up to visit us for a few days. We had a fantastic time while they were here and would like to extend a formal invitation for them, or any of the other readers of this blog, (even if you stumbled onto this blog by accident or don't know us) to come visit us. Thanks again Barton's for coming us to see us.

These pictures are all out of order and I can't be bothered putting them in order so skip along with us and see where we went.

Max totally ignoring the dragon behind him. He was too busy with the "info phone" telling him all about Casa Loma.

Zach wasn't content with being at the highest floor in the tallest tower of the old home so he decided to climb up some pipes.

One last flight of stairs, come on Robert you can do it.

The long walk back down from the tower

Casa Loma (see the windows at the very top, that's where we were)

Okay before R&R say "wait a minute, we never played in the sand at the ROM" that is correct these pics were taken on a previous visit to the ROM but I decided to include them in here since we all did visit the ROM

a random shot while at the ROM

Playing at a park

Looking through the glass floor of the CN Tower

All aboard the subway

Leaving the train stop

now at the ROM again Max immediately ran over to this picture and tried give the dino a hug

one of the rooms at the ROM

Max got to this dino too and I think that little girl behind him was waiting to say hi to the dino before Max got there first.

The dino was so cute and cuddly that even Robert couldn't resist her charm

Zach I told you I would get a shot of you

this is what I was normally getting when trying to take a photo of Zach

Out to dinner (Max took this photo with my camera)

And that pretty much wraps up the Barton's visit. (or at least my photo's of their visit)
